I suspect most business day-trippers were already using LCY with LGW drawing mostly non-business passengers of every stripe. Getting into the City from LGW is hard work. I agree BACY seem to be counting on increased loads once LGW is no longer available. Personally, I have my doubts and suspect MAN will be the real winner. Three flights daily to LCY seems like too much capacity given that BACY supposedly reduced frequency owing to poor load factors.
