we had planned a new years eve flight, and yes, you can orbit the harbour at 2100ft as the fireworks are going off, we did that on 2012 NYE, sadly, didnt have a quality lens that timeso pics are a bit blurry.
As for the NYE just passed, we had a plan in the system, but broken cloud at 2300ft coming in at 10pm ruined that flight.
