I think the acronym CASA is inaccurate and outdated. They have no reasonable input into 'Aviation', absolutely no input into 'Safety', and they abuse and misuse their 'Authority'. The word 'Civil' can stay because they do worm their way through the civil side of things (lucky the RAAF don't have to deal with them in great deal).
