I meant, the SNN management have done extremely well in securing new routes and increased capacity on services to the US & UK. They have also put a halt on passenger decline.

There were a few voices hinting that the purpose of the free flights was to avert the need to say that passenger numbers had slightly declined. Tbh, I discounted those stories, until I saw how close the margin was.
The passenger numbers wouldn't have declined. There would still have been a extremely small increase in passenger numbers.
