Well it's been an IATA designated Glasgow Airport since BOAC flew the Stratocruiser, every BOAC / BA, Trans Canada / Air Canada and NWA timetable was denoted as such, Glasgow (Prestwick) alongside London (Gatwick) in the last case. Anyone who *
genuinely* thinks this is recent is being a bit of a naive newbie.
That spot to central Glasgow is dual carriageway and motorway all the way, 45 minutes on a bad day.
