Completely agree with confused, far too many airports in Ireland, and not just in the Republic. Over 90% of the population must live within a 3 hour drive of Dublin now with the new Motorway network. This means alot of the "locals" in Limerick/Cork/Galway etc are going to head up to Dublin, stay in one of those big hotels near the airport for the night and leave their car there for a fiver for the week.
Everybody knew that if ORK or SNN were made independent then they would run rings around the other. Unfortunately for ORK, it wasn't them who were cut off.
So we know ORK is in a hole, how do they find a way out?
