the growth was not organic and is only there to play airports off each-other. Really pisses me off that the EU is so liberal about an airline basically driving carriers off routes and actually out of whole markets by predatory pricing and scheduling etc.
EU internal market AIR
European policy has profoundly transformed the air transport industry by creating the conditions for competitiveness
The EU has one aim as I see it, the creation of the single market.

RYANAIR any most other Low Cost operations will move their assets to where ever they can maximize their return.

Outside of Dublin Ireland is over supplied with airports and each fighting for what they can achieve.

We are a small market on the edge of Europe.

Blaming Shannon/Dublin/Cork/Kerry/Knock/Derry is pointless.

The cheapest and most cost effective will out.

Ultimately this will result in significant changes to new entrants to the labor market in the airports but eventually all airport/airline employees will be affected.
