It is going to be very difficult this year for LDY. Even with the COC it looks like 20K drop in numbers and from reports of a further reduction of 10% for 2014 it looks very bleak (and could be higher)
As usual local politicians emphasising the economic benefit of the airport to Derry, but how much money is actually coming into Derry as many pax only head west to Donegal and East to Limavady Coleraine ? Also how many pax that use LDY are incoming tourists or business pax as opposed to outgoing?
