Why oh why do the uninformed public always hear the engine "misfiring" just before an aircraft crashes?
... even better (sic), I heard one "earwitness" on the wireless who said:
"It sounded like the engine was on fire!"
Surely it is disrespectful to air such rubbish so publicly - you don't need to be an aviator or an expert to see what a daft statement that is.
