Fixed wing or Rotor wing (in the long term)

Hi everyone
Hope you are all having a great start to the new year.
I'm interested in knowing your opinions about whether to go for fixed wing flying or for rotor wings...
I've currently got my ppl for rotors and currently going for my cpl,yet I am also doing fixed wing as a side line hobby.ive always wanted to go for choppers-career wise,it's honestly my passion, fixed wing coming in second.but I've spoken to a lot of airline pilots and they are all saying that airline flying is a MUCH better career choice after the age of 25.ive spoken to a few rotor pilots and they seem to disagree, but to an extent...could any of you gentlemen/ladies give me some advice here as I'm indeed curious to find out...I'll definitely fly rotors for a couple of years but I'm curious as what is the best long term.

PS:I'm only 18 and have two more years of school.

Thanks everyone.much appreciated

Regards,
Daniele
