Well I've just watched the film and knowing Mikey very well (I know not the other chap) I have to say that initially I thought it must have been the film script.
MG is absolutely correct in that Mikey was trying to eek out a new career in the States at the time and if it took this little white lie to open a few Director's eyes then it worked superbly. Just watch him on Fox etc espousing his viewpoints regarding the current happenings in the Middle East and putting other supposed specialists in the shade by putting them all back in their boxes.
But there is a difference between the 'normal' walts which some of you are dribbling on about and what has happened here; Mikey and his mate John kicked the a@se of both the other 'SPECIALIST' teams who were full of bullsh@t about what they could and were going to do.
I take my hat off to the pair of them and I bet the RAF Regt were chuffed to bits in absentia. If not then tuff!
It's probably why some of them tell the girls they're pilots!!
I must say the comments from Mr-Burns are a bit rich. If Mikey only touched a weapon on AWP then why aren't you lot doing better and as for him being a co@k - I don't expect you would tell him that to his face as he would probably bite your a@se - he's that sort of 'dog'.
