I attended A-M's funeral today. I spoke with her family and let them know the feelings of the members of Pprune. I was told the champagne was much appreciated and I promised to pass that on to you all. I signed the book of rememberance on your behalves too.
A considerable amount of service personnel attended as well as friends and family. It was patently obvious how popular A-M was.
The eulogy was given by a close friend and he did a marvellous job of describing exactly how A-M lived her life.
The weather was awful but the bearer and firing parties did a stirling job.
We were told that A-M planned her funeral in great detail. She did a stirling job and even though I did not have the privilege of meeting her I know she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
The entire day was a perfect tribute to an outstandingly vibrant and brave lady.
Rest in peace Flt Lt Noble RAF
