Does the F27-050 compare on appearance and performance with the ATR42, the DHC8 and/or the S2000? ... No it does not!
It's an antiquainted piece of kit that is, and looks like, it's from the 1950's and therefore lacks passenger appeal and, in a previous life, I worked for the world's largest F27 operator so I'm not anti F27 in any shape or form, merely that it had it's day in the 60's, 70's and 80's and those days are long since passed.
Meanwhile the economics of how many hundreds of seats daily each way between Rhoose and two Scottish cities that are so close to each other, who's for waging a bet that these two routes and the announced frequency of serviced are a winner and will remain operating for longer than 12 months?
