Stop taking life so seriously, shamrock7seal was having a joke, at CWL's expense, at FlyForNuts or whatever they were called, not only was the name a joke but the whole concept was a joke.
So, to bring matters closer to hand, here we have Chity Jet (deliberate misprint) being sold off by AF, no doubt losing much if not all of it's AF franchise work, and desperately looking for work.
And, around the same time, Flybe (that's "Fly British European" rather than "Fly for Beans") announce they are in dire straits and withdrawing from multiple loss making routes, so "hey ho" CWL's new airport directorship, precisely how many of which have a background in aviation, claim a scoop that they have saved the day by bringing in an F27-050 operator, a 1950's design aeroplane, to take up routes of gawd know how many flights/seats per day CWL to from EDI/GLA amongst others.
Am I going to knock it? ... No I'm not ... but a similar F27-050 operation in/out of Kidlington does spring to mind!
