Try VATSIM (he's the Oz outfit)
VATPAC Australia Quite a few RW pilots at ATCOs use it, usually for role reversal to see the other side of the picture. Whilst it will never get close to the real thing, I think even the hardened cynic would be impressed at the efforts to get it as close as is possible.
I believe that El Al used VATSIM a few years back for some very basic ab-initio pilot training,
