Economics

Just our of Curiosity as an SLF on this route.

There must be at least 16 flights a Day out of DEL / MUM to DXB currently and I have yet to fly a 737, 320, 321, 777, 330 on this route that was packed solid to the gills over the past 12 months. With Jet connecting to EY for onwards from some of the smaller metros in the coming month this will only reduce the load on these routes.

What are the Economics of flying the 380 on such a short sector unless they plan to convert them into the 800 pax carriers with standing room and then some on the roof ? Would not a more frequent 737 service as a feeder be a more commercially viable option than a 500 seater?

Insights on this much appreciated.
