Terrible
There's no way to rationalize such a young, foreseen, inevitable death.
However, please don't forget that in about 80% of cases, this disease is now preventable with a simple vaccination.
If we can all together help get 1500 young people vaccinated with Cervarix or Gardasil, who otherwise would miss getting it, then we'll make sure that - on average - one person will get to live to a ripe old age, who'd otherwise die young of cervical cancer.
I propose a toast to A-M's memory, and that as a result, we can together take action that might compensate in some small part: by preventing someone else from getting the same disease, and allowing them to live her sadly missed years.
