I am in a similar situation. Here's what I've been told by the CAA. Please, bear in mind that this information pertain to my specific situation, which may or may not be similar to yours. I have 3000+ hours with 1700 multi-crew jet. My requirements:. .1. JAA 1st class medical (700p). .2. Pass all 14 JAA ATPL(A) exams. Te 650 hours. . are waived. I only needed to buy the books . . (I strongly suggest Bristol Ground School),. . but I don't need the 2 weeks brush up course. . (although I advise you do th brushup). . .3. Pass an "observation ride" with a . .
