RG. .. .The average CV probably has about 15 seconds to make an impression before it goes in the 'to think about' pile or the bin.You need a letter to get the recruiter’s attention, and that letter has to be tailored to the job that you want with that company. The CV itself is probably more general, but I do know of people who change theirs for each application. . .. .You have to answer the question of ‘what can this applicant do for the company’ and you have to make that recruiter want to take things further and meet up with you. The letter has to stress the good points that the recruiter will want to see, which are not necessarily the good points you would use to impress a girl/boy friend’s father.. .. .If you want to e-mail me some more background, I’ll be more specific. . .. .Good luck!
