Great pictures, as ever! But I have a question: Why is the 'helipad' at Gorokshep raised up above the lodges?
I remember from my last voyage up there that there's a big 'H' on the large plain between the lodges and Kalapatthar, a natural landing site. Is that not in use any more? Maybe not such a bad thing as on my visit the area around the pad itself (but not the rest of the plain) was covered in big rocks. Didn't stop a few people from landing there though.
Hope to be using you guys to transport my equipment to Gorokshep next November, by the way. Looking forward to it already.
