Boys. I've been a bit down on this too lately. But events in recent times have given me some kind of hope.

Recently we've all heard about Nelson Mandela spending 27 years in a tiny cell, and became the president of a country afterwards. We've been 18-24 months on a holdfile. Seems like a p!SS in the ocean in comparison.
Look at Qantas/jetstar circus at the moment - I'd rather be on the VA holdfile any day.
They are the pick of the bunch to work for in this country.
