Couple of bizjet operators I've visited have displayed mild paranoia at the possibility of a pilot sneaking in to drop off their CV. One Swiss outfit I visited last year throught I was doing exactly that and nearly threw me out
Personally I think that making an in-person, meat-o-sphere approach shows initiative and resourcefulness... but in any case, surely it would be easier to just accept it with a smile and quietly shred it if desired?
