It seems the Society has been in existence for over 50 years.
I contacted the email address and – lo and behold – have a confirmed booking!
I also received an electronic brochure. Apparently, they have booked the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to provide in flight entertainment and the usual Qantas cabin staff will be supplemented with guest attendants from US based Hooters Air.
