Yea that would have been a better idea I think. However it wouldn't have helped in this case as said individual made a call to Virgin HR manager.
There is no defence against this kind bad reference. What is tragic is that Virgin didn't listen to what I had to say, and a simple google search is really suffice to sum up this Character. I mean a judge in his last case commented on him being of questionable character and he doubts that the majority of what he said was true.
I have ample excellent references etc.
But life goes on.
