I have to admit that when this is all said and done, it will be at least a good result if the QSA gets torn up. It does seem stupid in this day and age to have such restraints put on a business from a governmental level when that business recieves no support of favouritism in return. Why not open up the flood gates to 'outside' investors etc. Who gives a toss about 'flag' carrier status anymore, passengers certainly don't.
As for what happens between now and then, I just hope that not to many of the front line staff have to pay the price for all this mismanagement and political posturing. Sadly though it does seem to be the way of the world.
