I went for a local and a few circuits yesterday Rutan Varieze 0-200 and I must what a blast it was up at 3000ft with a tail wind i had a ground speed of 240mph
but then turned round into wind and only had 85mph !
But what i did find the weirdest feeling was going downwind joining onto left base at 1000ft QFE it felt like having the arse end out in a car round a corner
Anyway I had fun. just had to share anyone else go flying yesterday?
