I think there is value in collecting the data, just not sure how much would actually be available and the direct/indirect correlation potential.
Prying this sortof data out of the hands of a provider, airline, or manufacturer would require a bit of skill in out litigous environment, not to mention the pilots union!

Collecting the data would be the first step, to see if any issues/correlations fall out.

I agree that the automation will prevail, and the data gathering could be used for pilot training, especially in the sim. The sims need to be far more realistic in the scenarios and response.

Real time, well...

As an example, your note on too low on glideslope, would required a whole bunch of real-time in/out data correlated with the ground, the landing system at the airport, ATC instructions, and ....
