Hey Jack just wondering if your colleagues in Eir might be tempted to take the Newcastle route on?A while back you alluded to Eir basing a third ATR for Summer 2014. Any further news on any new routes or increased frequencies they plan?
As recently as last October the CCO Simon Fagan said that for Summer 2014 they would increase flights add new routes and base a third ATR in Cork, Aer Arann can wait as far as late January, early February to announce their final schedule for the Summer so I'd imagine they're still busy planning what to do with that extra aircraft - BHX, MAN will definitely have more flights, followed by EDI and BRS - I would hope NCL would be picked up by them and it's possible Southampton or Cardiff could also appear, with the new capacity going to Manchester I doubt theres a need for a Leeds/Bradford route. They could even add Southend but I'm very sceptical about such a move.
