Do you think the closure of PIK is relvant to the SNP? It's a cross party issue to protect an asset we've already paid to build then sold off, all bought for a minor sum. It wasn't done to make a pro Indy point, Ayrshire is not natural SNP territory, Troon less so! Can you leave your distant and half baked ideas on local politics at Cairnryan please?
Btw GLA an PIK are more complimentary than competitors nowadays. As for Ryanair, GLA would need to pay FR for them to get a better deal than PIK, which with the previous PIK business Model worked well!
FR and PIK have had one of the less adversarial relationships with MOL, no one pretends it's a love affair but given a four bay maintenance facility on site, I think they're here for a wee while yet.
