Well, it made me smile.
We have discussed boarding in many threads over the time I've been in this forum and I think it can be brought down to a few things:
- Some people want to board NOW and will push forward before their seat row/block is called.
- The Ground crew have learnt not to block this person as it leads to verbal abuse - or worse.
- Many pax have no idea which boarding system is in use and cannot hear the instructions clearly.
- Many pax work on the sheep principle - if others are surging forward - it means I'm going to lose out, so I'll press forward too.
That's just four for starters and there are many more but since pax have been allowed to bully the ground crew and the ground crew have (for the most part) stepped aside and let the cabin crew deal with it - there is no way back.
Please note that I am NOT blaming the Ground Crew - they have simply been trampled by the ill mannered people.
