Interesting ... as far as I remember this is the exact original text:
9.2. The holder of an IR(A) may have the amount of training required reduced by 10 hours.
Thank god if you are in the UK:
The UK CAA issued a derogation under Article 14 of the Basic Regulation to reflect that “the holder of an IR(A) may have the total training required in paragraphs 7 or 8 reduced to 10 hours.”
