The fact that the vast majority of 'customers' passing through Brize have already endured 24hrs + of sh1t through South Cerney etc before they even reach Brize must contribute to their rather jaundiced view of the place - the 'straw that broke the camel's back' in effect. Having had to at worst just get MT from Lyneham & now direct reporting to go on Det I've generally found Brize not too bad, certainly no worse than the process through Heathrow for example.
