Warren wins an award!

Oh come on Creamy, always the 'glass half empty'! You are correct though when you say the Harley riding politician from FNQ has been 'verbalising his thoughts' about Fort Fumble for some time, albeit unsuccessfully. However in reality who really has managed to force change within CAsA anyway? None of us plonkers that's for sure. Whether you like Entsch or not, he does hate CAsA with a passion, so on that basis alone I like the guy. After doing a bit of a phone around this evening, I was advised that he has been awarded an 'in absence' IOS membership due to his robust work. He cannot accept his membership in person due to potential issues registering the gift on the pecuniary interests register, however it has been decided, if I may post it here, he is to be awarded the following;

'The Chocolate Frog Award' - Awarded for excellence by his publicly backing Barrier Aviation in an effort to obtain a measure of justice. He has been covered in pooh by a number of punters because of his open stance against CAsA but he remains unfazed.

'The Lay Down With Dogs Award' - Again, he receives this coveted award for his work in publicly naming and shaming a number of FNQ's least finest, long serving, flea spreading CAsA employees who have been involved in almost every 'questionable' action undertaken by this less than robust field office.

'The Wild Hogs Award' - Given to Wazza for his love of riding Harley's with his mates and possibly doing the odd coordinated 'ride by' outside the CAsA FNQ office and giving them the bird. They are brave warriors, potentially in breach of Fuhrer Newmans rule about 'riding motorcycles together'. Perhaps similar rules will be rushed through parliament in which it becomes 'illegal for CAsA Inspectors to group together and hide behind by trees, then pouncing on unsuspecting pilots and pinging them for having stained carpets on the floor of a 172', or 'leaving a patch of sea salt spray the size of a grapefruit on the skid of a Robinson after a full day operating sightseeing tours over the reef'?

If ever an honorary IOS membership was deserved it is deserved by Wazza
