I submitted my application at lunchtime and within two hours received an invitation to selection at Oxford. That's certainly enough time for someone to at least scan-read my application, although I wouldn't be surprised to find that the initial invitation is based purely on my qualifications and the answers I gave to the multiple choice questions.
I'm in my early thirties and have a financial technology background, if that's any encouragement for potential applicants in a similar position.
