From what I can tell though, BHD base isn't closing. A fair few jobs will surely go as a result of LGW route going. Awful for anyone loosing their jobs. Ultimately what flybe need to do is lower their cost base to be more competitive, and payroll is nearly always the number one cost and first victim in a profit protection exercise. Also, let's not forget, any frequency cuts can be restored in the course of time. Switching over to DH8 for most flights will help yield and potentially mean high frequency can be maintained.
