I do NOT agree that the "current generation are lacking something". I've been outside for a while now but those of my contemporaries who are still in the mob are in the cadre of current SOs. There is always the odd
but the overwhelming majority of them are first class individuals and I would rejoin just to serve under them - and alongside the next lot - if only I wasn't so long in the tooth.
