Got to disagree with you there.
South Lantau has had a large contingent of westerners in the villages ever since the airport started to be constructed back in the 90s. As for the mansion comment, you can't get bigger than a village house so only difference is the decor.
I think there is more to this story. Upset some people me thinks. The guy hasn't been in hk for very long so it's easy to upset the locals if you don't start playing the game/politics very quickly.
Hope he recovers real soon.
One thing that annoys me though, takes three of them with a knife....spineless...
