I've heard "District 9" can be a bit too indigenous. You walk around some of the villages and it is pretty backwards. I can't imagine it mixes too well with some of the people living there in what would be considered "mansions" compared to how the natives live. I guess something that will become more common as income inequality becomes greater in HKG.
Pretty shocking though, I must say you get lulled into a very secure comfort in HKG due to how safe it is relative to most western countries most of us come from. Something like this would not even make the local news back home.
