Just to let you guys who don't know the A321 is back at Cork for the winter season, it will mean we'll have 4 aircraft based for the Winter with the A321 operating peak services to London/Heathrow and an A320 off-peak, EI-DEE positioned down before 11 this morning and EI-CPH arrived into Cork last night after swapping with EI-DVN in Heathrow last night. Fairly efficient use of aircraft when they're going to be lying around in the Winter anyway it'll mean if theres tech faults with the A321 it can operate delayed and it won't affect the whole Heathrow schedule that day. Management at Cork hoping this ''test'' for it this Winter will lead to the A321 being used in the Summer also however the A321 is perfect for use in Dublin during high season on busy flights for example Nice. At least we have variety again at Cork now and there's a little more parking charges for the CAA.
