p.s my Initial was done on a Beech duchess so I'd prefer to do it on that aircraft but it probably wouldn't matter a huge amount at the end of the day (the DA42's look pretty interesting)
If you are looking to get it done in a few days I would stick with the aircraft you trained on. The DA42 with its glass cockpit and significantly different flying characteristics is somewhat another world compared to the legacy types like the Duchess and Seneca, I doubt one could get to grips with it in a few days, especially not to the standard to pass an IR revalidation (I certainly couldn't
) without previous experience of it.
I would recommend PAT at Bournemouth who operate the Duchess.
