The first RN exchange navigator of
USS Winston S. Churchill was Lt Angus Essenhigh RN whose father,
Admiral Sir Nigel Essenhigh GCB DL, was First Sea Lord 2001 - 2002. Angus, now a Cdr, is the Commanding Officer of
HMS Daring currently deployed in the Pacific.
