I was trying today to workout how much tax we pay directly and indirectly out of our pay packet, I reckoned that it must be close to 50%, so has anyone worked it out?.

National Insurance
Tax on Petrol, the Vat on the lot
VAT on nearly everything
Airport Tax
Council Tax
Road Tax
Tax on insurance
