That must be one of the most stupidest statements on here in a long time.
Not sure if it's so stupid..
A friend of mine had an engine failure at 8000 ft on a hot & dry day in SoCal. The POH drill said Mixture - Rich! But it wasn't until he
leaned the mixture that it finally ignited for him again.
