Would be interesting to compare the accident rate of the five years 1975-1980, (ie what was probably the golden age of GA in Oz), with the last five years 2009-2013.
I would be surprised if it doesn't show an increase in the GA accident rate, with a corresponding increase in the fatality rate.
Just my perception of the last 40 years!
