It did not, thus why it was dropped as It began to have an effect on the ORK-CDG service. However BVA will have zero effect, people flying to Paris actually want to be flying there and Charles de Gaulle and Orly are the choices. Rather than the town of Beauvais or Vatry, how Ryanair is allowed to name these places as secondary Paris airports is hilarious, quite like describing Memmingen as ''Munich West'' which is about 1hrs 40mins to Burgstraße the same journey from Franz Josef Strauss is 30mins. From Beauvais you face a nearly 2hr drive to Rue du Temple, the same journey from Charles de Gaulle is 30mins and I've done both.

Agree, but it's no worse than MME calling itself Durham and "Robin Hood" for DSA.

No different from BOH becoming "London West" (it's only a matter of time at this FR base).

London-Oxford Airport (OXF), London-Manston Airport (MSE) and London-Ashford Airport (LYS) or Lydd to you and me, are also pushing it.

We all know there's only one airport in London: it's the one that does not have another geographical location in the name after the "London" and before the "Airport".

It gets the old BS-meter into overdrive!
