The September figures show a small increase but down on 2011. Still an increase is better than recent stats and if next season it can continue then there may be some growth.
That being said naysayers comments aside the link road will do much to improve the area in general.
As a region we should be glad to see investment that can bring jobs and and to the economy.
As will the railport that is coming. Im not sure if the latter is being helped by Network Rail's new flyover. (Perhaps someone can clarify).
As for if the airport can gain from all of the above remains to be seen, But I fail to see how potential frieght operators wouldnt make some use of the infrastructure both the airport and railport will provide.
