In summary, as part of any member state in the EU, there has to be a NASP in-line with Regulation (EC)no. 300/2008, but each member state can then have a derogation (which is the second link above) which is what I think is really of interest for you......if the flight is filed as a commercial flight, then above 10 tonnes MTOW, you will require screening.....if filed as a private flight (and genuinely a private flight), then the screening generally is not required. Note: screening is required on all aircraft (whether private or not) for MTOW's of over 45.5 tonnes, am guessing your below this ;).
