Regarding Loganair, I'm led to believe that captains are to be interviewed in Aberdeen but FOs have to go to Dundee and undergo a simulator assessment in addition to an interview and other tests. That doesn't seem very fair and I would imagine Loganair will miss out on a few Eastern Saab FOs as a result, especially as command opportunities at Eastern will suddenly be a very realistic proposition.
