Transatlantic crossing" claim.
The Fairey III that's in the Museu de Marinha in Lisbon was involved in the first successful crossing by air of the
South Atlantic in 1922 by Navy officers Sacadura Cabral and Gago Coutinho, although the operation actually involved two aircraft "Lusitânia" and "Santa Cruz", each used at different stages of the flight.
