Given that 3 fairly reputable, experienced, high integrity organizations are willing to invest more than $100M each in the JMR TD, maybe they genuinely believe it scales up. Why would Boeing abandon the tilt rotor otherwise? It will be interesting to see how things play out. I am hoping that the FVL is a desperately needed opportunity to take an important step forward.
